Self-supporting sandwich panels BROLLO are made of two metal sheets bonded by a polyurethane or rock wool foam insulation layer. The characteristics of lightness, easy handling, thermal insulation and easy use make this a suitable element to meet the most widely diverse construction demands when creating walls and roofs, it can be fitted to the most diverse load bearing structures.

Fixing sets

The wall panels are normally fixed using BS 6,3 type screws, through the main ribbing whilst. For roof panels a cap nuts with an incorporated gasket and a washer are employed, everything in compliance with the design specification. When performing the design work, the designer must evaluate the direction of the local wind in order to determine the panel mounting directions and should also consider altitude, loads and overloads when calculating the number of fixing elements.

Slight undulations, in particular with thin coatings and aluminium coatings are considered acceptable with a maximum deviation of 3mm per 1000mm.
